Edward Hughes is the Principal Solicitor at Hughes Walsh Solicitors. He has been serving the Kilkenny community since 2011, following his tenure at Thomas A. Walsh & Co. Edward took over this firm in 2019 and is now the Principal Solicitor at Hughes Walsh Solicitors. Edward is known for his approachable demeanor and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his clients. He specializes in areas including personal injury, litigation and criminal defence. He also serves as the Duty Solicitor for KIlkenny.

Thomas A. Walsh B.C.L. – Consultant Solicitor

Thomas A. Walsh is a Consultant Solicitor at Hughes Walsh Solicitors. He has been a licensed solicitor since 1980 and brings over four decades of experience to the firm. His extensive background encompasses various areas of law, providing invaluable insight and guidance to both clients and colleagues. Thomas is known for Defending the HSE and State Claims Agency for a number of decades with regard to Medical Negligence Claims, he has also worked with the Irish Public Bodies in Defence Litigation.

Oliver Holohan – Senior Solicitor

Oliver Holohan is a Senior Solicitor at Hughes Walsh Solicitors. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2013 and has since built a reputation for his professionalism and dedication to client service. Oliver's areas of expertise include property law and probate. Oliver has recently received a Diploma from the Law Society. This postgraduate Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning, focusing on wills, trusts, associated tax implications, and overall estate planning. Delivered in partnership with STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), this practical course provides solutions to real-life scenarios faced by practitioners and can lead to full STEP membership and the designation 'registered trust and estate practitioner'.
